DAVID BENJES
Founder
David has been in the event industry since 2000. He organizes, promotes, and manages large-scale events and projects such as triathlons, mountain bike races, running, road cycling, swimming events, weddings, and parties.
He is well versed in leading and promoting events, obtaining vendors and sponsors, negotiating with local governmental agencies regarding event traffic and safety plans, water safety plans, and medical and communication plans. He has built a reputation as a valuable resource throughout the health and fitness industry with well-known national organizations such as USA Triathlon, US Masters Swimming, USA Cycling, and government venues.
When he isn’t planning the next race or event, David enjoys getting out on the trails outside of his home in Colorado.
SARA BETH SCARBOROUGH
Event Director
Sara’s excitement for event planning began at an early age and eventually grew into her passion and career of choice. The attention to detail, organization, relationship building, and opportunity to create an unforgettable experience are just a few of the many reasons why she enjoys the planning business.
With an extensive background as a professional in the event industry, Sara has had the opportunity to gain exposure and experience in entertainment, fundraising, wedding, and athletic events. She has had the pleasure of planning, implementing, and overseeing a range of larger and smaller scale events featuring high-profile talent and public figures.
When she’s not planning events and weddings, you can find her planning the next beach trip, cheering on my Fighting Texas Aggies, sitting on a patio with friends and family sipping a beverage listening to live music, or playing with her fur baby, Harley.
JACI HURT
Event Director
Jaci has a passion for bringing people together, and her career in event planning has allowed her to put her passion in alignment with her work. The relationships that manifest through events and the final execution of the event are two of the reasons she loves being in events. She thrives on the work behind the scenes including event communication, attention to details, and logistics.
She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Corporate Communication, and this has been helpful in working and communicating with vendors for events.
